Spring Begins
Spring begins TOMORROW! Can you feel it? Of course there's the "get ready" outside on patios, porches, garden paths and flower pots; our little pieces of earth. There's window cleaning and dusting and with all of the things, I'm reminded, tremendously humbled and deeply grateful that my body can thrive and endure the ask.
Sunshine and longer daylight hours brings vitamin D and energy to us deficient Pacific Northwesterners. Finally, we look up from grey, rain soaked sidewalks to meet another's eyes and smiles. Neighbors linger together on sidewalks and friends meet at outdoor eateries again. We feel life refreshing after a long winter. What are your favorite things you enjoy doing with that renewal of energy? Life is comprised of seasons within us. There's ebb and flow with the consistencies we create in our lives and sometimes in the midst of consistency, a shift occurs and we fall out, until the next shift comes and motivates us to restart again. Transitions are life. How we manage them is how we not only enjoy life but also enjoy and love us. In yoga, when we fall out of a pose, we pause, breathe, and slowly begin to organize ourselves to move forward again. We accept what is, take note without judgement and move forward into our next try. Love and joy flood in.
What is it the brings you joy and makes you feel good? Can you set an intention to incorporate at least one of those things into your week?
The light in me sees the light in you,
