Why practice yoga?

Here's just a few good reasons. :)

Sleep: Yoga is known to facilitate better sleeping habits. Regular yoga practice helps to alleviate both physical stress and sooth mental restlessness.

Holistic Wellness: We live in such a fast paced and competitive world, constant media flashes never lets our minds calm down. Each yoga posture comes with breathing technique. These breathing techniques are beautifully effective in relieving the mind from external distractions and helping create a fit and strong physical body.

Flexible Body: The numerous yoga poses help create better body posture, strong limbs and flexible joints. With increasing age, our muscles and bone joints can become stiff and gravity is harmful on our spinal cord and vertebrae. Yoga benefits muscle tissue by enhancing blood circulation, ridding our body of toxins, and keeping diseases away.

Weight Loss: Without the high impact of cardio routines, yoga can burn calories without extreme rigor. Practicing yoga gives us awareness and gratitude for our bodies causing us to want to make healthful food choices to fuel them well.

Improved Muscle Tone: Yoga will help gradually increase the internal body strength and improve muscle tone. When holding poses we are acting against gravity which is a form of resistance training through natural means. Improvements in strength and muscle tone will also help you gain muscle mass.

All Ages: No matter your age, there are on age barriers to practicing yoga. Yoga is low impact and suitable for all ages and body types.

Its so much fun!
