We show up to the mat differently every time and we leave the mat a whole lot better. :)

Our minds, our emotions and our bodies take in all of our life experiences and show up on the mat. We can compartmentalize easily and only receive a part of what yoga wants to give. But, if we're willing to take notice, if we're willing to open up to the possibility and invite our whole selves in, to see our own strength past our circumstances, this beautiful practice of yoga has this way to help unite and heal our fragments. We experience gratitude in places we didn't before and healing where we once felt broken. Each time we come to the mat, we're choosing strength. And each time we do that, we are becoming whole and healed.

This week's practice will be a gentle flow of postures allowing us to practice breathing well as we float through postures inviting release of what no longer serves us and filling us up with what does.

In
Sanskrit, the word for intention is Sankalpa, and it's a representation of a desire or positive thought that you want to manifest in the world, a promise you make to yourself.
