Two weeks of things of all things Winter Olympics and a thought occurred

I've been keeping much later hours than my norm (thank you Winter Olympics), so a little sleep deprived, maybe, but nonetheless, I recognized the plethora of athletic pursuits and all of them around the elements of frozen water stopped me in my tracks (no pun intended!) We have such a glorious playground of earth! The pleasures of nature and the seasons all around us were indeed created for us to notice, discover and enjoy. And then, God created brilliant minds to design dynamic skis for speed and carving and bladed skates for dancing and body wear that become airbags before crashing and ice skate blade resistant. We are amazing. God is amazing. I wonder the pleasure and joy and laughter He must get as He watches us play in and through His creation. What a privilege to remember to notice the beauty around me; to fascinate over our natural world and stay connected to it. We are also made of water.
