This week.
brings more acceptance of the reality of a longer quarantine than any of us anticipated. We are meant for purpose, to find and know meaning in our lives is essential to our well-being. What we normally do is no longer what we can do, but can we lean into a new opportunity to find a new meaning? Can we begin to know our value is more than how much we can pack into a day?
We will get through this time, it will pass and we will get back to our normal way of life, but what can we draw from this time that will make us better when we do? Suffering is meant to bring us awareness to our inherit strength. Can we also become acutely aware of our blessings and the time we've been given to enjoy them?
Yoga happens when we are integrated in body and mind in the present moment. When we breathe mindfully, walk mindfully, serve another (even though virtually) mindfully, when we drink our coffee, or shower, or cook with mindfulness, we are always restoring peace and joy and that is tremendously meaningful.
