There are always new notices yet to be noticed.
How are you doing in your transitioning to a new season? How has your schedule changed with Fall here and summer in the rear view and how are you adapting in those changes?
Sometimes I just have my mind set that Fall means (fill in the blank), the end of Summer means (fill in the blank), the approaching holiday season means (fill in the blank). If I've got my mind set, blinders are on and I am for sure going to miss something super cool as a result. Autopilot not only isn't nuanced and poised toward growth, if we're not careful, it can also indicate we're not living with a positive abundance mindset.
The sunshine lessens, but we can choose abundance in the subtle colors nature cues their quieter song. Summer is so high energy and by the end of it, a tad bit too loud. Time to go home guys, the DJ has left, the party is over and we all need some rest! The daylight hours dim, but we can choose abundance in the blessing of electricity, lightbulbs and the gentle dance of candle wicks and their glow. The outside temperatures drop, but we can choose abundance, embracing cozy clothes, socks, warm footwear and our furnaces. Rains hydrate the earth, clouds hang heavy and low, grey light becomes our everyday, but we can choose abundance and embrace replenishment after the dry parched days of summer’s unending thirst.
Our practice isn't perfect, on and off our mats, but practice allows us to witness our process. When we wobble, lose our balance and fall out of a pose, we have a moment teaching us how to regain equilibrium. We observe and learn, steady ourselves, before we try again. We begin to create a sense of steadiness, stability and ease. Let's embrace the abundance of that.
The Abundant Harvest is saved for Fall. Just sayin’. 🙂
