Most of us who practice yoga

had a season in our lives we walked away from the practice. Most of the time, it happened without intention for it to happen, it just happened.

And then one day, we are awakened by a longing for how we felt when we practiced. That memory of not just being strong, but feeling strength. Feeling and knowing our resiliency, our mobility, our peace, that hug-on-the-inside, we bring our mats out from the recessed corners of our homes, closets and cars.

And unroll them.

We unite with our breath in our sitting still, we unite with ourselves in the acute awareness and goodness in moving our bodies, in a rich appreciation for them as in this moment of right now they house innate wisdom to heal us. When we unroll our mats, we begin to experience a miracle. Welcome back. :)

What is it that whispered you back to your practice?
