Majestic Monday
The intensity of the holidays is behind us. The luxury of sleeping in every morning shows up more as stagnation and sluggishness than luxury. This Monday morning, I woke up early. New beginnings are so so good for us. They remind us of hope and of choice. They remind us we are capable and able to shift, adjust, pause and reflect. If there's anything I need after the holidays, it's a pause. It is good for us to mark time, to assess what is beneficial in our lives as we cross the threshold into a new year. What is working in your life that gives you joy and lines up well with your life values? What now no longer lines up? What are the things, the habits, patterns, choices you can choose to leave behind in 2022? Can you embrace them all because of lessons they provided and wisdom gained? With a gentle hold and a kind release, can you choose to adventure into a new year? Can you create majestic moments? God created this "sky of fire" this very morning right outside my back windows, reminding me of His majesty and also that we are made in His image, meant to create with the fire inside each of us.
