Deepening Possible
Many of us have learned situations in strained situations that we've then created restricted adaptations.
The mat is a place of study, we learn and relearn skills toward efficiency with our movement and breath, better our balance in our minds and work toward less restriction in both. Each time we wobble, or even fall completely out of a pose, we have an opportunity to pause, to settle our bodies, our minds, tame our thoughts, and try again. When we learn to take a softer hold, when we push a little bit less, we show up for ourselves with the same kindness and observation for a child learning something new, we recover what we have excluded and restricted in ourselves; our practice has deepened its possibilities.
