P A U S E and a Deep Breath
Today marks three days since I significantly injured my knee. X-rays show my knee joint is structurally sound and well aligned. Praise for that. I am now currently waiting to schedule an appointment with a specialist in order to determine what exactly is my injury and the next steps for healing. I've not stopped thinking about you and desperately trying to figure out how I can show up for you in our classes with this. With so much regret, I realize I can't just yet.I will be canceling classes for the next two weeks. I'm hopeful that within that time frame, I will have a clear diagnosis and an excellent plan for healing. I will also know how I can return to the studio for our classes. You are so special to me. I will surely miss you guys.
I hope you will take this pause and deep breath to enjoy the outside as much as possible. Summer is a gift in the Pacific Northwest. Take glorious walks. Make a picnic. Drink iced tea and eat fresh locally grown fruit. Sleep with the windows open. Wander around farmer markets and plant nurseries for me.
I look so forward to us gathering back together in the studio soon.
When we face our trials, we have a tremendous opportunity to learn from them, an opportunity to grow in compassion, patience for ourselves and then for others. Chains are broken. We get real and we really can become far better than before. Yes and amen!
Thank you always, for your unending kindness, understanding and support.
Jill💜
